Who We Are

Hand in Hand is a community-based provider with a behavior management component

licensed by the Community Care Licensing and vendored by the Regional Center of the East

Bay. We believe that self-determination is important to all people, we recognize that the

more self-determined the individual, the more likely they will succeed in life. Comm

resources in our midst are also part of who we are. We support opportunities for community

living by providing access in the least restrictive environment, encouraging the individual in

exercising their own choices and decision making, which is important to their self-esteem

and self-worth.

To continuously provide quality service by promoting active involvement in making appropriate choices based on personal preference and interests of the individual, exercise self-advocacy in setting goals and solving problems that act as barriers to achieving their goals. Becoming equal partners in building the skills and knowledge the individual need to become more self-determined.

Who Do We Serve

 We provide services to individuals 18 years old and over, adults who have completed public school services in order to be eligible for Regional Center funded day program.with developmental disabilities and behavioral challenges in accordance to criteria set forth by the Department of Developmental Services.

Transportation Services

Hand In Hand believes in delivering the best service to individuals in a timely and safe manner.  In order to provide the person a seamless daily routine, it is the goal of Hand In Hand to provide safe efficient and comfortable transportation to individuals.

We maintain a fleet of vehicles to provide home-to-program and site-to-site transportation services as well as gateway to the community, transporting individuals to places of interest for shopping, grocery, leisure activity and much more.
